it'd probably be good to tell you a little about us since we're just another random indie rock band on the internet atm.
(we also wanna tell you exactly what you get when you take us up on this free cd thing.)
the classic brothers-indie-duo-turned-trio-when-older-brother-falls-in-love
a tale as old as time...
we released our debut album back in 2020. alt-country with a dreamy bent, a lot of that album ended up being about Adam & Amy meeting, and writing cryptic love songs back and forth...
After the rousing* success of our debut album,
we found ourselves split between Ann Arbor and Brooklyn.
Then 2020 hit, and we ended up in Louisville for six months, caring for a family member. It was a tough time (for everyone), but it sparked something special in our music. We channeled those emotions into our songwriting, & when we all finally made the move back to Brooklyn (together), we spent 3 years perfecting the tracks in a cozy Bedstuy studio.
Now we're playing shows in NYC & trying to do this forreal.
...the good thing is that aren't many other indie rock bands in Brooklyn doing the same thing, so there's a real opportunity for us to break the mold... 😏

Rusty Grand Am 🚘
This new record is a love letter to our biggest shared passion: ‘80s music. Imagine chorused guitars, analog synths, and saxophones all wrapped up in a dreamy, reverb-soaked soundscape. It's like stepping into a time machine, but with a modern twist.
and about the title...
Rusty Grand Am is named after this old car our dad used to drive. That car was a fighter - sticking around way past its prime - and it became a symbol for the record.
